The Nutcracker

This popup book story is based on "The Nutcracker," which is a famous ballet performance.From the story, I chose the gorgeous third act scene and designed the stage set and costumes. The sheets making the stage sets are stacked up behind each other to give a feeling of depth, in addition to using some unique tricks. For instance, shadows emerge when light is applied from behind, and the ballerina spins when the book is opened. Furthermore, the balance of color and decoration will enhance the dancing ballerina.
