GENZE-My scarf.

I will be presenting about a scarf assignment I created in the first semester.

I created this scarf with the theme of expressing my own universe.

I found similarities between the word
"universe" and the Mandala of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism,
and arranged the circles in a slightly different way as a motif similar to the universe,
which is the unification of the whole in concentric circles.

The main explanation is a self-portrait in the center,
in line with the meaning of the mandala arrangement I referred to,
the football spikes that sparked my interest in design to the north,
an illustration of how I came to be able to capture things in three dimensions to the south,
and the buttons of a game console controller to the east and west,
and my own The idea is that you have to operate and make choices.

Moreover the other circles are arranged with motifs that are meant to connect the neighbors together.

The color scheme is a mixture of oriental, mysterious, actual mandalas and modern digital colors.
In addition to colors, My favorite parts are the fact that patterns and motifs are a mixture of old and new expressions.
