SPOON OF WAVES

I made a spoon with the image of waves mind. I wanted to express the impact of a big wave hitting the rocks.
I think the dynamism of waves is very beautiful.
I made it with reference to "Fugaku Sanjurokkei"of Hokusai Katsushika.
First, I roughly cut a soft wood called "chemical wood". Next, I used a sculpting tool to shave form the wood. After that, I prepared a silicon mold. Finally, I poured aluminum into the mold.
BY actually scooping with this spoon, holding it, and calling the liquid along this flow,I was able to express the flow of waves even in usage.
