The motif of this work is a Japanese crane.When these cranes are courting they dance face to face. I focused on the S-shape from beak to foot during the dance. I wanted to emphasize this line so I abstracted other parts simply as character lines. Furthermore I designed it asymmetrically because I wanted to express the dynamic dance. So I also devised the shape from the side.
