This set of tableware is trying to portray images associated with creatures of the sea. I wanted to create a product where the user is able to feel nature through the texture. I did this largely though the use of natural walnut oil and wood. The set I made consists of three items. First is the butter knife, which resembles the shape of a fish. The second is in the shape of a tree called, Heteroconger hasso, ('Chinanago' in Japanese). The final piece is a fork which is trying to express the shape of a crab. Using my set will make eating fun again!
